1. Closed my rings and got in my 10,000 steps. Something I find hard to do when hubs is home but I did it! 🙌🏻
2. We had taco salad for supper and it was scrumptious. Hubs knows what he’s doing at the stove. 😋
3. Got signed up today for the NFB Newsline and I’m looking forward to reading newspapers and keeping up with things at my own pace. Also have a replacement eReader on the way since mine is getting a bit worse for wear. I’ve moved all the books from the internal memory to an SD card so when the new one arrives, all I’ll have to do is insert the SD card and copy the books to the internal drive on that one.

how old do you think you should be to still be able to do the strength training?
and particularly to do the arm balances or other calisthenics?

what could motivate you to workout?
(i think the fear is the strongest motivation)

what's your thoughts in general about aging and being able to workout?
- do you think you can be too old to workout or is it okay at any age?
- and what kinds of workouts at what age is ok?
- what do you think about martial arts and how good or bad they are to get fit? (i think some kinds do not work for this goal but may make you feel better mentally. also for some kinds you need to train strength and stretch additionally to be better in it)

- If you just start training - do it during 5 mins, slowly and rest when you need, try also a harder option!
- if you train regularly already - add these 5 mins to the end of your usual workout.
- for the extremely fast results you can do it 5 mins in the morning, 5 mins again during the day, then 5 mins before the dinner 😆

I’ve hated going to the gym for as long as I can remember. I hate the sensation of physical exertion. I hate getting tired. I hate sharing space with a roomful of frowning, grunting people. I hate getting sweaty. I hate having to shower with someone else’s soap that smells weird.

But I think I’m paying the price for my neglect. My physical health and mental alertness is probably not as good as it could be. I can probably benefit from more regular exercise.

Is anyone else in my situation? What do you do to keep yourself fit and healthy?

I’ve walked for exercise since high school. No matter where I’ve lived or traveled, I’ve walked. Navigating new places and getting my steps in brings such joy. For a brief stint about 8 or so years ago I became a runner, but ultimately it just wasn’t for me. I do other forms of exercise, but walking is a daily practice. While I get in some walking at work, it’s when I’m home in the evenings that I get in a few miles. This week I’ve been off work a few days and they have been over 10 mile days. If only I didn’t have to go back to work next week 🙂

For now, I will enjoy putting one foot in front of the other, making the most of each day. #exercise #walking
