StrandrennerMallorca. The lighthouse at Cap de Formentor, built in 1892, is a sensual adventure destination for everyone. Once you have finally arrived there by bike after a hilly up and down, you will be delighted by a small canteen in the tower serving espresso and cava. After drinking a lot of cava, you can even see the Sagrada Família basilica as far as Barcelona. Really now? Or maybe just a mirage after all? :) Mallorca. Der Leuchtturm am Cap de Formentor gebaut 1892 ist für jeden ein sinnliches Abenteuerziel. Ist man nach bergigem auf und wenig ab endlich mit dem Fahrrad dort angekommen erfreut einen eine kleine Kantine im Turm mit Espresso und Cava. Nach besonders viel Cava kann man sogar weit bis nach Barcelona die Basilika Sagrada Família sehen. Echt jetzt? WolkensteineI think this turned out really quite nice. I now just have to figure out how to motorize the turning. I have not used the old torch though, it wasn't as bright as I hoped it would be if I could push a bit more current/voltage through it ... Going back to the newer torch, I couldn't disassemble. WolkensteineI've printed an angle to fit onto a cardboard tube for redirecting light. This I want to use to create a rotating light effect for my printed <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/lighthouse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#lighthouse</a> Sooner or later I will mount it inside the lighthouse and attach a motor to it for letting it rotate. In the images, you can see what happens if you put a small torch under it. The reflection is really quite strong. For the reflectiveness I am using aluminium foil wrapped around the printed angle, which, as one can see, works quite well.
