Good morning. Bear, deer, landscape and sun.

Photo of a colourful mural of the head and neck of a bear, a deer, a landscape and a sun set in an abstract setting. The bear is made up of various coloured triangles while the eyes seem to represent the black of space with several stars. The deer has white antlers while half its body is made up of alternating colourful stripes set against a black background and the other half has colourful random curved lines against a white background. For the landscape, three conical triangles might represent mountains and three amorphous patches of colour, set against a green background, might represent lakes. A bare blue tree is set against a twilight sky and a sun with triangle rays completes the background.

It's a Nychos "The Weird"! He's a well known street artist who paints these anatomical pieces. (Truckee Railroad Showsheds, Calif., 2016)

The piece features the upper torso of a human skeleton with large yellow eyes, a big smile, and its arms outstretched. The skeleton's bones are intertwined with unraveling red arteries and blue veins that explode into large black letters that read, NYCHOS over which the skeleton is painted. There's a large clump of snow/ice in the lower right and frozen waterfalls of ice pour from square holes low down on the concrete wall. In white, under the skeleton's left outstretched arm it reads, The Weird, 2015.

We found ourselves in downtown Jackson, MI today. Snapped a few more #streetart wall #paintings.

Michael Rosato’s mural in Cambridge, Maryland, #USA

This lifelike mural of Harriet Tubman is painted on the side of the Tubman Museum and Education Center. Tubman is shown stepping out of a broken brick wall, arm extended as if reaching for the viewer’s hand. Behind her, a calm riverside landscape glows under a setting sun. The artwork is titled Take My Hand and has become an iconic tribute to her legacy.
